While raising a family we wanted a canine companion that was part of the family; respecting  all the members, both young and old. We visited a remote ranch one summer and met the Samoyed.  The team we met was used for transportation in the winter and enjoyed long walks with the rancher during the summer. Children were not a part of their family,  but you would not have known this by the canine's response to our children. This visit was the beginning of our relationship with the Samoyed.

Our first Samoyed was a great family member which gave us a hunger for a show and working quality Samoyed. A few years passed before we found the line we wanted to begin our foundation with. Champion Wolf River's Chelestina Warrior came into our lives as a puppy and the following year Champion Wolf River's Raven of Chelestina. Both traveled to the ranch where we first met the Samoyed, impressing the rancher with their structure and temperament. Corby and Raven have been and continue to be a joy to live with.
